The Beebe Medical Center School of Nursing, which last year was renamed the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing, will offer a seven-week, Nursing Assistant course beginning Monday, June 4, 2012.
The course will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will meet at the School of Nursing behind the Beebe Medical Center campus in Lewes. The course will include clinical placement in a local, long-term care facility. The cost of the course is $1,750, which includes clinical fees, textbook, and the Nursing Assistant Certification Exam fee.
To be admitted to the program, applicants must have earned a high school diploma or GED, successfully complete criminal background checks with the federal Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and Adult and Child Abuse Registries, and also pass a drug screening test.
