To meet the growing need for walk-in health care this winter, the Beebe Health Campus – Millville Walk-in Care Center has expanded its hours to seven days a week through the end of January.
The Center has been open Friday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for visitors and residents whose primary care physicians are unavailable. Now it’s also open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The need for extended hours will be re-evaluated in February. Also, the healthcare providers at the Walk-in can test for flu if indicated.
No appointments are necessary at the Walk-in Care Center.
The Walk-in Care Center is in the Creekside Plaza on Route 26, just five miles west of Route 1. Also located in the same shopping center are the following outpatient services: Beebe Imaging, Beebe Lab Express and Beebe Rehab (which offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language pathology).
The Walk-in Care Center is in the same building that previously housed a Beebe emergency center during summer seasons in past years. The Walk-in Care Center allows patients to receive non-emergency and immediate care. Examples of the illnesses and health problems that are appropriate for treatment in the Walk-in Center include:
