Howard Clark Prostate Cancer Survivor

Howard Clark faced his diagnosis of prostate cancer in 2006 just like any other challenge he has faced throughout his life. "It did not change me one bit," he says. Howard, a U.S. Army 20-year veteran and retiree, has always kept up with medical checkups and screenings, so his cancer was diagnosed in the early stages. "I'm doing great," he says.

Howard, who lives in Frankford where he is a retiree, plays the piano every Sunday for the Frankford Antioch A.M.E. Church where people were supportive of him. His twin brother, Horace Clark, accompanies him on the organ. He also drives a bus for the Indian River School District.

"My wife, Marie, has been there for me," he says. "She's my supporter, my secretary, my everything. She knows more than I do."
