Thomas Wladkowski Prostate Cancer Survivor

Thomas Wladkowski has volunteered at the Christian Store House in Millsboro for 12 years. He has worked in the organization's food pantry for two years, giving out bags of food to locals who need help. The Store House is a good place, he says, and so many people depend upon it, especially in this economy. "I am glad to be able to help others."

Thomas suffered a stroke in 2005, and he was diagnosed with prostate cancer not long after. Thomas says his wife Marcella and his friends at the Store House were there for him. "I needed help and they helped me. Thankfully, the Lord pulled me through." Thomas says he has been lucky. Now he is back at the Store House, helping others in need.
