Beebe offers many diabetes education series classes, workshops, and support groups

Learning about diabetes and how it affects you is an important step in your health journey.

Beebe offers a comprehensive education series designed to help you learn to manage your diabetes. Group and individual sessions are available. If you are newly diagnosed, group sessions are highly recommended. Education programs are available in various locations and times for your convenience.

This American Diabetes Association-recognized program covers these topics:

In addition, Beebe Diabetes Management also offers these classes: NOTE: Currently, Beebe Diabetes Management is offering telemedicine for all patients. Patients can continue to have in-person appointments at our office if they prefer. Group support meetings have been temporarily postponed, but those members are welcome to call the office to set up a virtual or in-person appointment for support.

Support for Patients

Beebe Diabetes Management offers a Diabetes Support Group the second Wednesday of alternating months. Due to COVID-19, the meetings will be held virtually using the BlueJeans application. Participants may join using a computer, electronic tablet, or telephone. If you are interested in joining the support group, call 302-645-3121 or e-mail Ken Carson at [email protected] to request an e-mail invitation. The support group is open to anyone interested who is diagnosed with diabetes or who supports someone living with diabetes.
