Mary Kate Horner, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Beebe Medical Group, specializing in comprehensive neurological evaluations for adults. She addresses a wide range of conditions including migraine, concussion, stroke, transient ischemic attack, seizures, memory impairment, tremors, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathy, balance issues, and dizziness.  When necessary, Mary Kate orders neurological testing including MRI and CT scans of the brain, EMG, EEG, and blood work to assist in diagnosing and designing treatment plans for each patient.  Patient education and counseling are integral to her approach and she is dedicated to delivering compassionate, exceptional care.

Education, Training, and Credentialing
Mary Kate earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the Drexel University Physician Assistant Program at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Additionally, she is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Mary Kate is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Earlier Work Experiences
Prior to joining Beebe Medical Group, Mary Kate worked at Delaware Neurology Associates in Lewes, Delaware. Earlier in her career, she worked as a physician assistant at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Jefferson Neurosurgery at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, and the Delaware Neurosurgical Group, affiliated with Christiana Hospital.

Personal Interests
Outside of work, Mary Kate enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Sussex County and visiting local restaurants with family.
