Rachel Forrest, NP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who works at Beebe Healthcare. She collaborates closely with the hospitalist team, providing comprehensive care, monitoring, and evaluation services for patients who have been admitted to the hospital. Rachel provides care for patients who have been diagnosed and who are undergoing treatment for a wide range of medical issues, requiring around-the-clock medical oversight. She is proud to serve the local community, and is especially passionate about caring for the aging population.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Rachel earned a Master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner at Wilmington University. Additionally, she is a graduate of Towson University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Rachel is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed to practice in both Delaware and Maryland.

Earlier Work Experiences

Prior to joining Beebe Healthcare, Rachel worked as a family nurse practitioner for several local healthcare organizations, including Signify Health, NutriHealth Weight Loss, and Pointe Primary Care. Earlier in her career, she worked as a bedside nurse at both Nemours, Al duPont Hospital and ChristianaCare.

Personal Interests

Rachel enjoys living in Sussex County and believes strongly in the importance of serving the community she calls her own. Beebe’s mission and focus on service within the community align with her own core values, making the organization a perfect fit for Rachel as she grows in her career. When she is not working, Rachel pursues experiences with family and friends that give her balance and personal fulfillment. She enjoys traveling to new destinations and relaxing on the local beaches.
