PaintFest America is Coming to Sussex County!

Beebe Healthcare’s Tunnell Cancer Center to host community celebration, painting event at Beacon Middle School

People are increasingly turning to the arts as part of their healing process. From Picasso to your 5-year-old, painting helps us reach parts of our soul in ways that nothing else can. The healing power of painting is the founding principle behind PaintFest and the Foundation for Hospital Art, which brings upbeat, community-minded events to local communities.

The art created during PaintFest will be displayed at Tunnell Cancer Center and at the Medical Center in Lewes. Behind all great art is a great community.

Join us for the Sussex County PaintFest event, Thursday, July 7, 10 a.m. to noon at Beacon Middle School on Route 24 near Rehoboth Beach. This PaintFest America tour is specifically targeting cancer centers in all 50 states. Tunnell Cancer Center was the only Delaware healthcare location chosen to benefit from this free community PaintFest.

Bring your family, friends, and children for this unique community party, which will feature live music, games, BBQ, and more. No artistic ability is necessary!

All you need is a heart to make beautiful things happen!
