The Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare is pleased to announce that Drew Morris, a senior student from Lewes, is the recipient of the inaugural Dr. Mansour Saberi Scholarship.

This scholarship is awarded to students in good academic standing who reside in Sussex County and plan to seek employment at Beebe Healthcare after graduation. Morris has already accepted a position at Beebe Healthcare after graduation in May.

This scholarship was initiated by Mrs. Shirin Saberi in memory of her husband, Mansour.  Dr. Saberi was board certified in internal medicine as well as endocrinology and metabolism. He was an assistant professor of medicine at Temple University from 1974-1976. He served as Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Beebe Healthcare from 1976-2006.
