Starboard to donate 50% of sales on May 9 to Beebe Beach Bash

Starboard owner Steve Montgomery has agreed to donate 50% of all sales on May 9 between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. to the Beebe Medical Foundation.

The Dine and Donate at The Starboard on Thursday, May 9, supports the 5th Annual Beebe Beach Bash, raising funds for Beebe Healthcare’s emergency department in Lewes and future emergency department in Millville.

“Beebe is our local community hospital and we’re all going to need Beebe at some point in our lives,” Montgomery said. “I feel good knowing my family and friends can get the best care right in their backyards. The Starboard is proud to support the Beebe Beach Bash and raise funds for Beebe’s emergency department.”

“Monty has always been a strong supporter of our community, and we are truly grateful that he’s teamed up with us to raise funds for Beebe’s emergency department,” said Tom Protack, Vice President of Development, Beebe Medical Foundation. “We see a large influx of visitors to the emergency department during the summer months, and our community supporters help us to provide the best care possible to these patients. We hope that others in the community will join us in raising funds for Beebe’s emergency department and expansion plans in Millville.”

Join the Foundation in raising funds for Beebe Healthcare’s emergency department by dining at The Starboard on Thursday, May 9, between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. or by sponsoring or purchasing tickets to the Beebe Beach Bash, which will be held on Saturday, June 8, from 6-10:30 p.m. aboard a docked ferry at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal.

“We are so excited to partner with Monty and The Starboard to raise money for Beebe,” said Jen Carroll, Beebe Beach Bash Co-Chair. “This year’s Beach Bash is going to be the best yet. We are excited to ramp up the Polynesian theme and entertain guests with The Funsters, Polynesian Performers, great food, and more.”
