Dima Freih and Raquel Maynes Return as Chairs of 3rd Annual Beebe Beach Bash

Raquel Maynes and Dima FreihThe Beebe Medical Foundation is proud to announce that Dima Freih and Raquel Maynes are co-chairing the Beebe Beach Bash for the second year in a row. This year’s Bash is a boardwalk theme featuring skeeball, whack-a-mole, and other fun games. Last year, over 600 Beebe supporters enjoyed a wonderful early summer evening full of fun while raising money for Beebe Healthcare, a non-profit community healthcare system.

The 3rd Annual Beebe Beach Bash will be held on Saturday, June 3rd from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. aboard the docked Cape May Lewes Ferry. The Beach Bash is the biggest party of the summer. Headlined by The Fabulous Greaseband, guests will enjoy an evening of dancing, dining, auctions, boardwalk games, and more!

"We all enjoy opportunities to have fun and make lasting memories. This event is designed so that you can make great memories with old friends and have fun meeting new ones! At the same time, you'll be supporting a vital part of our community. I'm thrilled to be co-chairing the Beach Bash again with Dima Freih. Each year our FUNdraiser has grown, bringing more people into the Beebe family. We thank you for the support, continued and new, and look forward to seeing you there,” said Raquel Maynes, Beebe Beach Bash Co-Chair.

This year the Beebe Beach Bash will provide funding for Beebe Healthcare’s Emergency Department. The Beebe Emergency Department continues to grow and expand. Every year, the county grows with more full-time residents and grows even more with visitors.

Thomas J. Protack, Vice President of the Beebe Medical Foundation shared, “The Beach Bash has become the biggest summer party gathering so many supporters from our community. Every year the interest and attendance grows. Beebe is fortunate to have so many loyal and strong donors who realize that now more than ever, Beebe needs support to continue to meet the community’s growing needs. We are grateful to all those who have attended every year and invite others to join us for the first time!”

Several companies are loyal sponsors of Beebe and have already contributed to this year’s Beach Bash. We would like to recognize this year’s Platinum Sponsors: Jack Lingo Realtor Inc., Megee Motors, Southern Delaware Imaging Associates, Sussex Emergency Associates, and William E. Cross Foundation Inc.

"It is my pleasure to co-chair Beebe Beach Bash with Raquel Mayens for the second year. As we all know, the emergency department at Beebe Healthcare is one of the most vital parts of its critical patient care, one we all hope that we will never need. But in the event that we do, we most certainly want it to be state of the art. As we prepare for this fun event, we strive to keep it an exciting and memorable experience, and with this year’s boardwalk theme, we are hoping to achieve that. We are grateful for your support and look forward to enjoying the festivities with you on the ferry boat,” said Dima Freih, Beebe Beach Bash Co-Chair.
