You asked. We listened.
Beebe Healthcare will extend the season for the Millville Walk-In Care into the Fall.
The Walk-In Care served hundreds of patients during the summer and will continue to serve Sussex County residents and visitors.
The center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Labor Day; after Labor Day it will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. into the Fall.
Millville Walk-in Care is in the Creekside Plaza on Route 26, just five miles west of Route 1. Located in the same shopping center are the following Beebe Outpatient Services: Beebe Imaging, Beebe Lab Express and Beebe Rehab (which offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language pathology). For more information on Millville, call (302) 541-4175.
The walk-in centers allow patients to receive non-emergency and immediate care. Examples of the illnesses and health problems that are appropriate for treatment in Beebe’s Walk-in Care include:
- Cough, cold, flu
- Upper respiratory infections
- Strep throat/Sore throat
- Sinus infections
- Ear infections
- Swimmer’s ear
- Minor eye infections, pink eye, styes and abrasions
- Bladder infections
- Sprains and Strains
- Minor burns, cuts and simple lacerations
- Uncomplicated neck and back pain

In the event of a life-threatening illness or accident, please call 911. This will allow the patient to receive immediate, emergency treatment by emergency responders, and to be taken to the nearest suitable hospital emergency room.
