Zwaanendael Women’s Club Presents 2018 Scholarship to Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing Student

 

Zwaanendael Club Presents Scholarship to Nursing Student.The Zwaanendael Women’s Club, a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), hosted its monthly meeting at the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare.

The Club took a tour of the building and presented a scholarship to nursing student Kelly Staples.

The Zwaanendael Scholarship is presented annually to a nursing student who has achieved academic excellence during their first year.

Kelly Staples is a graduate of Laurel High School and lives in Laurel. She plans to continue her education and obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing through the University of Delaware.

The GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club, founded in 1905, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. It is comprised of public spirited women serving and improving the community. For more information, visit GFWCZwaanendael.com.

The Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare, is the only hospital-based nursing program in Delaware, and is accredited by The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The diploma in Professional Nursing is awarded at the completion of the curriculum, qualifying graduates to be eligible for National Council of State Boards of Nursing NCLEX examination, leading to licensure as a registered nurse.
