Beebe Healthcare offers a comprehensive Spine program that provides evaluation and treatment for a broad spectrum of conditions and disorders of the back and neck. The Spine Team is experienced in physical rehabilitation and patient education, diagnostic procedures, interventional pain management, minimally invasive treatments, surgery, and post-surgical care. The team works closely with Beebe Physical Rehabilitation Services to strengthen your spine in order to avoid surgery or to re-train your spine following surgery. Beebe physical and occupational therapists are available to see you at their many locations throughout Sussex County or in your home through Beebe Home Care Services.
Beebe is affiliated with spine surgeons who see patients in their offices and perform procedures at the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus. Beebe specialists in spine surgery include Dr. Abimbola Afolabi, Dr. William Pfaff, and Dr. Ronald Sabbagh.

What To Expect
The goal of Beebe Healthcare's Spine Surgery program is to provide you with the best postoperative outcome by preparing you physically, mentally, and emotionally for your surgery. Our comprehensive, multidisciplinary team is highly skilled and has received national recognition.
Preoperative education is provided on an individual basis depending upon the anticipated procedure. You will receive a phone call from one of our orthopaedic staff to review the surgery and what to expect during your stay and when you return home.
If you have been experiencing ongoing spine pain or a recent injury that caused spine or back pain, but you aren't sure where to start, Beebe Nurse Navigator Carrie Snyder can help. Contact Carrie here.
