General surgeons Michael Sofronski, MD, and Ramakrishna Tatineni, MD, and Erik Stancofski, MD, are trained and certified to provide general surgery procedures robotically. These surgeons operate at the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus with Beebe's Center for Robotic Surgery. They see patients at Beebe General & Bariatric Surgery and Wellness Center, Bayview Drive, Lewes.

Robotically assisted general surgery surgeries offered include:

  • Cholecystectomy
  • Inguinal and Ventral Hernia Repair
  • Umbilical hernia repair
  • Colectomy

In addition, Michael Sofronski, MD, is also trained and certified to perform bariatric weight-loss surgery. Robotically assisted bariatric procedures include:

  • Sleeve Gastrectomy
  • Gastric Bypass
  • Lap Band Removal

The Next Generation
