Beebe Healthcare offers a comprehensive spine program that provides evaluation and treatment for a broad spectrum of conditions and disorders of the back and neck. The Spine Team is experienced in physical rehabilitation and patient education, diagnostic procedures, interventional pain management, minimally invasive treatments, surgery, and post-surgical care. The team works closely with Beebe Physical Rehabilitation Services to strengthen your spine in order to avoid surgery or to re-train your spine following surgery. Beebe physical and occupational therapists are available to see you at their many locations throughout Sussex County or in your home through Beebe Home Care Services.

Surgery is necessary in 10 to 15 percent of cases of back and neck pain. Common surgical procedures performed at Beebe include the following:

What To Expect
The goal of Beebe Healthcare's Spine Surgery program is to provide you with the best postoperative outcome by preparing you physically, mentally, and emotionally for your surgery. Our comprehensive, multidisciplinary team is highly skilled and has received national recognition.
Preoperative education is provided on an individual basis depending upon the anticipated procedure. You will receive a phone call from one of our orthopaedic staff to review the surgery and what to expect during your stay and when you return home.
