Andrew Meininger, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant who provides general cardiology care, with a specialized interest in electrophysiology. He conducts patient assessments, orders and interprets diagnostic studies, develops treatment plans, provides patient education, and facilitates follow-up care for patients diagnosed with various heart conditions – from coronary heart disease and heart failure to heart rhythm disorders and other complex cardiac conditions. Andrew sees those who have been admitted to Beebe as well as patients requiring cardiovascular care on an outpatient basis at Beebe Cardiology Lewes. He is proud to be part of a collaborative cardiology team that prioritizes use of evidence-based standards of care, advocates for shared decision making, and treats patients with kindness and empathy.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Andrew is a graduate of the Yale School of Medicine, where he completed the Physician Associate Program. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Andrew is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Earlier Work Experiences

Prior to joining Beebe, Andrew worked at Atlantic General Health System and Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, located in Virginia. 

Personal Notes

Andrew and his wife Jaime, an artist, reside in Bethany Beach. During the summer months, when he is not caring for patients at Beebe, he serves as a lieutenant and emergency medical responder, part of the Sea Colony Beach Patrol. Andrew is a three-time world champion competitive jump rope athlete who has also claimed both national and collegiate titles. He hopes to launch a local competitive jump rope team in the future.
