Asil Omar, PA-C, is a physician assistant who works at various Walk-In Care Centers operated by Beebe Medical Group. She diagnoses and treats a wide range of issues that require prompt medical attention but are not considered life threatening – from influenza and COVID-19 to strep throat, bronchitis, lacerations, and minor injuries. Asil sees patients of all ages.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Asil is a graduate of Salisbury University, where she completed a Bachelor’s degree, and the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Earlier Work Experiences

While pursuing her education, Asil gained exposure to many fields of clinical medicine, including women’s health, orthopedics, family medicine, neurology, behavioral health, emergency medicine, internal medicine, endocrinology, and pediatrics. She trained at numerous hospitals and clinical practices located in both Delaware and Maryland, including Beebe Healthcare. 

Personal Notes

Asil grew up on the Eastern Shore, so she is especially passionate about providing healthcare services for people who live along the coastline. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on the beach, traveling, reading, and being with family and friends. In addition to speaking English, Asil is fluent in Arabic.
