Dawn Knowles, PMHNP-BC, is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Beebe Medical Group. She sees patients at Beebe Behavioral Health Lewes, providing comprehensive care, medication management, and support services for adults with mental health and addiction issues. Dawn is committed to providing quality-centric, therapeutic mental health care to the community.

Education, Training, and Credentialing
Dawn earned her Master of Science in Nursing (PMHNP) from Walden University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University. Additionally, she is a graduate of Delaware Technical Community College where she completed an Associate of Science degree in Nursing.

Earlier Work Experiences
Prior to joining Beebe, Dawn worked as a nurse for both Sun Behavioral Health and Solution Nursing. Before that, she was a nurse at Stevenson House Detention Center. Earlier in her career, Dawn worked in the Emergency Departments at both Beebe and Bayhealth. She also served for four years in the U.S. Army, at which time she was deployed to Kosovo and was responsible for managing an office for an entire military base.

Personal Interests
When she is not working, Dawn enjoys spending time with family and friends, including her dog Sully, and trying all of the area’s Mexican restaurants with her husband.
