Jekeijra Everson, PA-C

Jekeijra Everson, PA-C, is a physician associate who is part of Beebe Healthcare’s neurosurgery team. She collaborates closely with neurosurgeons, neurologists, and other interdisciplinary teams to provide care for patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She conducts neurological assessments, assists in surgical procedures, performs procedures at the bedside, orders and interprets diagnostic tests and imaging studies, develops treatment plans, provides patient education, prescribes and manages medications, and provides pre- and post-operative care. She advocates for patients and their families, ensuring they feel informed, empowered, and supported. She is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care while building trust with those she serves. 

Education, Training, and Credentialing 

Jekeijra earned a Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies from Delaware Valley University located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Before that, she completed a Master of Science in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science; earning both degrees at the University of Delaware. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Associates. 

Earlier Work Experiences 

As she was completing her clinical education, Jekeijra had the opportunity to gain experience caring for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures - from general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery to orthopedic surgery and gynecologic surgery. While in training, she also gained experience in emergency medicine, cardiology, family medicine, psychiatry, and pediatric environments. Earlier in her career, Jekeijra worked as a physical therapy technician. 

Personal Notes 

When she is not working, Jekeijra enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, listening to music and audiobooks, exploring museums, learning new things, and following women’s sports.
