Jenna R. Dafgek, MD

At Beebe Healthcare

Jenna Dafgek, MD, is a family medicine doctor who provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages – from newborns, children, and teens, to middle aged-adults and the elderly. While annual well visits and preventive care of a focus of her practice, she also treats patients who are experiencing acute and chronic illnesses requiring medical oversight and performs numerous in-office procedures including skin biopsies and large joint injections. 

Women’s healthcare is an especially important focus for Dr. Dafgek; in addition to seeing patients in the office she also works on the labor and delivery unit at Beebe, where she is a trusted resource for both patients as they go through the birthing process and family medicine residents who are in training on the unit. As a faculty member part of Beebe’s Family Medicine Residency program, Dr. Dafgek devotes a significant portion of her time to training and education. She is grateful that Beebe gives her the opportunity to practice full spectrum family medicine while also pursuing her passion for teaching.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Dr. Dafgek earned her medical degree at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. She went on to complete her residency training at Middlesex Family Medicine, with focus on maternal child and women’s health. 

Earlier Work Experiences

While pursuing her education and training, Dr. Dafgek was active in several research projects centered around quality and care improvement for women during pregnancy, and also made leadership and teaching a key priority. 

Personal Notes

Dr. Dafgek is a reading enthusiast. She leads her family book club and hosts an annual reading retreat for her circle of friends. Her love for “all things books” has inspired her to write, too, and she is currently working to write and publish a fantasy novel. Dr. Dafgek also enjoys spending time on the beach, kickboxing, and watching baking shows. She speaks English as well as conversational Spanish.
