Jillian C. Abbott, FNP-C

Jillian Abbott, NP, is a nurse practitioner who is part of Beebe Medical Group, serving patients at Beebe Healthcare’s Tunnell Cancer Center. She specializes in care for hematology and oncology patients from their time of diagnosis, through the process of treatment, and into remission and survivorship.  She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Oncology Nursing Society. Additionally, Jillian is certified as a chemotherapy and immunotherapy nurse practitioner.

A lifelong resident of Sussex County, Jillian is passionate about serving the community she calls home and is committed to providing comprehensive cancer management for patients and their families, with focus on outcomes-based care and education. As a charge nurse in the Tunnell Cancer Center, she also serves as a preceptor for newly hired nurses and nursing students.

Education, Training, and Previous Experience
Prior to joining Beebe, Jillian worked as a nurse on the medical-surgical unit at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. She earned a master’s of science with concentration on family practice nursing and a bachelor of science in nursing, both from Wilmington University. Additionally, she earned a diploma in nursing from the Beebe School of Nursing, consistently recognized as the best nursing school in the state of Delaware.

Personal Notes
In her free time, Jillian enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling to new destinations, cheering for her favorite football team – the Washington Commanders, listening to live music, and spending time with her husband, Trevor, and their two children, Andrew and Brooklynn.
