Education, Training, and Credentialing

Dr. Farrell earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and then spent five years in orthopaedic residency, working for hospitals across Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Boston, in collaboration with some of the nation’s leading joint replacement surgeons. He went on to complete his fellowship training in adult reconstruction at the Texas Hip and Knee Center in Fort Worth, Texas, where he performed more than 600 joint replacement surgeries annually while training to use cutting-edge, minimally invasive hip and knee replacement techniques. Dr. Farrell has been named a Delaware Today “Top Doctor” multiple times, recognizing his expertise in orthopaedic surgery.
