Joya Scibek, PharmD

Dr. Scibek is from Chester County, Pennsylvania. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Dr. Scibek is excited to be a member of Beebe Healthcare’s inaugural PGY1 Pharmacy Residency class. She hopes to contribute to the expansion of pharmacy services in a rural community that holds special significance, as she spent many summers in the area growing up.

Through her residency training, she looks forward to gaining experience in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings while further exploring her professional interests and developing her career goals. “As a pharmacy resident, I hope to become more confident in my clinical decision-making skills and also contribute to interdisciplinary care,” said Dr. Scibek. “During my interview at Beebe, everyone was so nice and seemed easy to work with. I was excited to join this team and move to this area.”

Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Scibek enjoys rock climbing, trying new restaurants, and staying active. She is a rated fencer and is currently training for her next half-marathon.
