Kimberly W. Vignola, AGACNP, AGNP, CCRN

Kimberly Vignola, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, CCRN, is an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner who practices at Beebe Healthcare. She specializes in care for cardiology patients who have been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and Stepdown/Telemetry Unit. Kimberly also plays a critical role as patients prepare to undergo procedures in Beebe’s Cardiac Cath Lab, and as they recover from those procedures in preparation for discharge from the hospital. 

Additionally, she provides cardiology consultations in the Emergency Department and throughout the hospital, tending to patients who have experienced or at risk for having heart attacks, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, heart block, coronary artery disease, and elevated blood pressure. Kimberly’s extensive experience working with patients who have undergone cardiac surgery, over the course of her career, allows her to serve as a valuable resource for patients as well as her colleagues.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Kimberly earned a Master of Science in Nursing at Wilmington University, followed by specialized Acute Care Certification through the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, she is a graduate of Immaculata University, where earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and the Beebe School of Nursing, where she earned a Diploma of Nursing. Kimberly is board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in both Adult Gerontology Acute Care and Adult Gerontology Primary Care.

Earlier Work Experiences

Prior to joining Beebe, Kimberly worked at ChristianaCare Hospital. Most recently she served as a Lead Nurse Practitioner on the hospital’s Cardiology Short Stay Unit. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Nurse Practitioner on that unit and as part of the cardiac surgery team.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys walking on the beach, cooking, reading, listening to music, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her cherished chocolate lab, Coco.
