Mary E. Zimny, AGNP

Mary Zimny, CRNP, is a certified registered nurse practitioner who provides hematology, oncology, and infusion services for patients with Beebe Oncology Services. She works at the South Coastal Cancer Center in Millville in close collaboration with oncologist Venkateswar Veerapalli, MD. Mary is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-focused care for adults who have been diagnosed with a wide range of cancers and hematologic issues.

Education, Training, and Credentialing
Mary earned a bachelor of science in nursing and a master of science in nursing – both from the University of Delaware. She went on to complete an advance nurse practitioner degree from Wilmington University. Mary is certified as an adult nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is licensed as an advanced oncology nurse practitioner. Additionally, she is a long-time member of the Oncology Nursing Society.

Earlier Work Experiences
Mary has devoted her entire career to hematology and oncology patient care, serving both major healthcare systems and reputable private practices over the years. Prior to joining Beebe, she worked for Penn Medicine Hematology Oncology Center in Pennsylvania and Medical Oncology Hematology Consultants in Newark.

Earlier in her career, Mary worked for Oncology Home Care Health Specialists in Newark, the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, and the John’s Hopkins Oncology Center in Baltimore. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member for the advanced nursing tract at the College of Nursing at the University of Delaware.

Personal Notes
Mary enjoys spending her free time with family and friends on the local beaches and waterways, as well as working on home renovation projects, watching sports, and working out.
