Megan M. Bowlin, FNP

Megan Bowlin, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a palliative oncology nurse practitioner who works at Beebe Healthcare. She sees patients at the hospital and at the Tunnell Cancer Center. Megan is passionate about caring for patients who have been diagnosed with advanced and life-threatening diseases, with focus on symptom and side effect management, education, and “goals of care” conversations. She is eager to support patients in ways that boost their physical, mental and spiritual wellness, regardless of prognosis or disease staging. In her day-to-day work, Megan strives to enhance quality of life for patients by anticipating, preventing, and treating a wide range of physical and mental conditions.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Megan earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University, where she is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice with Post-Masters in Nursing Education.  Additionally, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern University, located in Pennsylvania. Megan is certified as an oncology nurse, holistic nurse, and palliative/hospice nurse. Additionally, she is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Oncology Nurses Association, the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, the Holistic Nurses Association, and the Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Megan is committed to continuous education in her field, and staying up-to-date on the latest research and clinical care guidelines so she can provide the best possible care for all patients.

Earlier Work Experiences

Megan’s nursing career began at Beebe, when she joined the hospital as a new-to-practice nurse on the medical surgical/oncology unit in 2017. She was later appointed to the role of palliative care nurse and navigator, with focus on providing support and guidance to Beebe’s oncology and palliative care patients. Megan served briefly as a family nurse practitioner at Atlantic Family Physicians before transitioning back to Beebe in 2025, as a palliative oncology nurse practitioner.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending quality time with family, friends, and her fur baby, a Golden Retriever named Sawyer. She also enjoys reading, traveling, swimming, and biking.
