Richard H. Meyers, AGACNP

At Beebe Healthcare
Rick Meyers, CRNP, is a certified registered nurse practitioner who is part of the hospitalist team at Beebe Healthcare. He provides comprehensive care for patients age 14 and older who are admitted to Beebe and require intermediate levels of medical care for a wide range of clinical conditions. Rick collaborates closely with doctors, nurses, and other clinical care providers across the organization, often coordinating the admissions process for patients who initially present in the Emergency Department during the evening hours.

Education, Training, and Credentialing
Rick is a graduate of Walden University, where he earned a Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP). Prior to earning that degree, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mountain State University and an Associate’s degree in Nursing from Harrisburg Area Community College. Rick is a member of the Acute Care Community Network.

Earlier Work Experiences
Rick has worked as a clinician at numerous hospitals and healthcare organizations spanning the east coast. Most recently, he worked as a nocturnal hospitalist for WellSpan Health. Before that, he worked for UMPC-Pinnacle Health, treating patients on the Emergency Department Observation Unit as well as those requiring palliative medicine and supportive care. Earlier in his career, Rick worked for Geisinger Health System, the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, Hershey Medical Center, and Chambersburg Hospital.

Personal Notes
Rick is an avid mountain biker and also enjoys boating, jet skiing, and any other activities that give him the opportunity to get out on the water. He is proud to call Sussex County home after spending time vacationing in the area throughout his life.
