Ritesh Kumar, MD

Dr. Kumar earned his medical degree at the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University in Pakistan. In July 2026, he joined Beebe Healthcare’s Transitional Year Residency in its inaugural year. Transitional Year Residency programs give new physicians an opportunity to gain experience practicing in a wide range of clinical areas – from internal medicine and emergency medicine to surgery and various other medical specialties.

Dr. Kumar, whose long-term goal is to practice as an internal medicine specialist, evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, performs procedures under supervision, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and participates in various educational activities. While in training, his goal is to build a strong clinical foundation while also strengthening his communication, teamwork, and leadership skills in the patient care environment. He is confident Beebe is the right place for him to gain such experience.

Dr. Kumar speaks English as well as Urdu, Hindi, and Sindhi.
