Tabitha Kelly, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant who specializes in urgent care medicine and sees patients at Beebe Healthcare’s Walk-In Care Centers. She treats patients who are experiencing acute illnesses as well as those who require care for symptoms associated with chronic medical issues. Interpretting diagnostic testing results, prescribing medications, and providing patient education are among her core roles and responsibilities, along with promoting the steps people can take to practice positive self-care. Tabitha believes strongly in “whole person” approaches to care and works to address both the physical and emotional aspects of health as she is working with patients. She treats people of all ages and backgrounds.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Tabitha is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She went on to pursue specialized physician assistant studies certificate programs at the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, and Anne Arundel Community College. Additionally, she earned a Master of Health Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Earlier Work Experiences

Tabitha served as a Physician Assistant at New Hope Behavioral Health before joining Beebe. Earlier in her career, she worked at Atlantic General Gastroenterology, Your Doc’s In, and Berlin Interventional Pain Management. These experiences armed her with the knowledge and skills to care for a diverse patient population with diverse healthcare needs – in the fast-paced urgent care setting.

Personal Notes

Outside of work, Tabitha enjoys spending time with her daughter and their dog, a Morkie. She loves hiking and being active, and is an avid reader; in fact, she rarely goes anywhere without her Kindle in hand. Born and raised in Delaware, Tabitha is proud to work for Beebe in line with her ties to home.
