ABOUT THE PROVIDER
Dr. Williams earned her medical degree at the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine. She joined Beebe’s Transitional Year Residency in July 2026, becoming part of the program’s inaugural class of residents.
Transitional Year Residency programs give new physicians an opportunity to gain experience practicing in a wide range of clinical areas – from internal medicine and emergency medicine to surgery and various other medical specialties. These diverse experiences prepare resident physicians for advanced specialty training. Dr. Williams’ ultimate goal is to become an academic dermatologist, combining compassionate patient care with research, medical education, and advocacy. She has a specialized interest in treatment of hair and scalp disorders, especially alopecia, and recently authored a textbook chapter on topical steroid use in hair disorders.
As a resident physician, Dr. Williams values listening carefully to her patients and approaching each individual with curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based approaches to care. She is grateful for the opportunity to train at Beebe, noting that it is a place where she is challenged, mentored, and encouraged to be her best.
“I want to become the kind of physician that patients can trust and one that earns that trust every day,” said Dr. Williams. “I believe that becoming an exceptional dermatologist first requires that I become an exceptional physician. Residency is both exciting and humbling. I look forward to learning from my patients, my colleagues, and my attendings and mentors.”
Dr. Williams’ primary language is English, however, she also speaks a dialect known as Jamaican Patois.
