ABOUT THE PROVIDER

Dr. Karalevich graduated from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, and then relocated to Delaware to join Beebe Healthcare’s Transitional Year Residency. This program gives new physicians an opportunity to gain experience practicing in a wide range of clinical areas – from internal medicine and emergency medicine to surgery and various other medical specialties. This work is crucial as Dr. Karalevich works to build a strong clinical foundation in preparation for advanced specialty training.

Dr. Karalevich enjoys being part of a collaborative healthcare team, where people support one another and cultivate a supportive learning environment with strong ties to the community. Beebe has given her that opportunity, while also allowing her to live and work in a location that is close to the coast; here Dr. Karalevich is confident she can achieve solid balance as a professional while also prioritizing her personal well-being.

“The combination of a supportive training environment, the strong community focus, and quality of life makes Beebe an ideal fit for me,” said Dr. Karalevich. “I am inspired to transition from a learner to a physician who actively contributes to patient care while continuing to grow professionally. My vision is to become a dedicated, compassionate doctor who providers high-quality individualized care, and promotes the importance of equitable access to care for every patient.”

In addition to English, Dr. Karalevich speaks Russian.
