Amanda Caputo, DNP, FNP-BC, is a cardiology nurse practitioner who is part of the Cardiovascular Institute at Beebe Healthcare. She works closely with Dr. Mouhanad Freih, Director of Beebe’s Structural Heart Program, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, coronary artery disease, hypertension and hyperlipidemia, and arrhythmias. Amanda is dedicated to working closely with patients to identify risks and signs of coronary artery disease, and taking action early to manage symptoms and minimize risks. She cares for adults with general cardiology needs, including those who require specialized screening and care as a result of a family history of cardiac issues. Amanda treats patients in accordance with guidelines from the American College of Cardiology.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Amanda earned both a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. Additionally, she is a graduate of Chamberlain University, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Vermont Technical College, where she completed an Associate degree in Nursing.

Earlier Work Experiences

Amanda’s nursing experience began at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, where she worked as a registered nurse on the medical, surgical, and intensive care units. Her clinical focus shifted to cardiology when she accepted at job at Beebe in 2019, working on the hospital’s cardiac progressive care unit as she was pursuing her Master’s degree. From 2021 to 2024, Amanda worked at TidalHealth Cardiology, serving as a cardiology nurse practitioner for both inpatients and outpatients. She returned to Beebe in 2025.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, and watching historical documentaries.
