Amanda L. Galloway, FNP

Amanda Galloway, MSN, FNP-C, is an advanced practice clinician who works at the Cape Henlopen School-Based Wellness Center. She provides healthcare services for high school students, including physicals, sick visits, and vaccinations. Amanda is also available to consult with students about contraception needs and family planning, with focus on assuring teenagers have the education, resources, and support needed to make healthy lifestyle decisions. In addition to her work in the school, Amanda sees patients at several Beebe Walk-In Clinics located across Sussex County. She is passionate about health promotion and education, as well as increasing access to healthcare for populations that are traditionally under-served and under-insured.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Amanda is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where she earned both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is licensed to practice as both a registered nurse and a family nurse practitioner in the state of Delaware.

Earlier Work Experiences

Amanda initially joined Beebe in 2018 as an advanced practice registered nurse on the observation unit. She eventually transitioned her role to be focused on walk-in clinic services, serving first as an advanced practice registered nurse and later as the lead advanced practice clinician. Earlier in her career, Amanda served in similar roles at Christiana Hospital as well as Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, located in Philadelphia.

Personal Interests

Amanda is married and is mom to three kids and two dogs. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, and swimming. She also loves to sew and work on creative arts and crafts projects for fun.
