Christopher Caputo, MD, is a board certified urologist at Beebe Medical Group. He provides comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with a wide range of complex urologic issues, including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), stone disease, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, and urologic cancers – including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular oncologies. Patients whose plan of care calls for surgery benefit from Dr. Caputo’s training and expertise in robotic and minimally invasive approaches to surgical care. These techniques typically streamline the surgical process of care, minimize the patient’s risk for complications, and allow for a quicker and more efficient recovery. Dr. Caputo treats both men and women, and is proud to serve the local community as as part of Beebe’s medical staff.

Education, Training, and Credentialing
Dr. Caputo earned his medical degree at the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He remained there to complete his internship in general surgery, then pursued residency training with focus on urology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, also located in Philadelphia. In the midst of his clinical training pursuits, Dr. Caputo contributed to research projects, which led to industry presentation and publication opportunities.

Earlier Work Experiences
Prior to joining Beebe, Dr. Caputo worked at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UMPC) in Harrisburg, where he served as an attending urologist.

Personal Interests
Outside of work, Dr. Caputo enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Danielle, and their two children. He also enjoys playing guitar, bicycling, and skiing, and has a special interest in blockchain technology.
