Colleen M. Wilcox, FNP

Colleen Wilcox, FNP, is an advance practice registered nurse who works at Beebe’s Walk-In Care Centers located throughout Sussex County. She diagnoses and treats a wide range of illnesses and injuries conditions that require prompt medical attention, with her patient population including people of all ages – from babies through the elderly.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Colleen is a graduate of Quinnipiac University located in Connecticut, where she earned a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is licensed as a family nurse practitioner through both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Additionally, Colleen is a member of the International Honor Society of Nursing.

Earlier Work Experiences

Prior to joining Beebe, Colleen worked as an advance practice registered nurse for GOHealth Urgent Care and Hartford HealthCare Urgent Care, and as a nurse for The Center for Advanced Pediatrics Urgent Care, all located in Connecticut. Earlier in her career she worked at both Norwalk Hospital and Bridgeport Hospital, also located in Connecticut. 

Personal Notes

Colleen’s career path was inspired by her mom, who passed away from cancer. Colleen vowed to treat her patients with the same level of compassion she would have shown her own mom as a care provider, and it’s a promise she keeps each and every day. Outside of work, Colleen values her family time greatly. She and her husband, Taylor, are parents to a son, Colton, who keeps them active and on their toes at all times. They relocated to Sussex County to be closer to Colleen’s extended family and are very excited to visit the beach, go on bike rides, and fully embrace the coastal life.
