Lexie Zimmerman, PA, is a physician assistant at Beebe Healthcare who cares for patients at several Walk-In Care clinics located across Sussex County. She spends the majority of her time at Beebe Walk-In Rehoboth, but occasionally works in clinical practices in Millville, Georgetown, and Millsboro, as well. In collaboration with providers and other clinical colleagues, Lexie focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of common acute conditions and illnesses, and also addresses minor traumatic injuries. Lexie treats patients age six months and older.

Education, Training, and Credentialing
Lexie earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Misericordia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences and Autism Studies from St. Joseph’s University. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Earlier Work Experiences
Lexie brings a diverse range of clinical experience to her role at Beebe Healthcare. While pursuing her education, she completed clinical rotations at various hospitals in Pennsylvania, with focus on internal medicine, family medicine, plastic surgery, dermatology, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and psychiatry. Previously, she served as a Chief medical scribe and quality assurance associate at ScribeAmerica at Mercy Health System in Philadelphia.

Personal Notes
Lexie advocates for patient-focused medicine and believes that Beebe’s values and goals align well with her own. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Delaware state parks and beaches with her two very loved fur-babies, a golden doodle and a German shepherd.
