Scott Clark, MD, is a gastroenterologist who practices at Beebe Healthcare. Some of the most common conditions he diagnoses and treats include inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), celiac disease, and advanced liver disease, including patients who are candidates for liver transplant. Additionally, Dr. Clark is trained to perform Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), a procedure that identifies and treats problems in the bile and pancreatic ducts. He also offers colonoscopies, esophagogastroduodenoscopies, and enteroscopies. Dr. Clark is committed to providing comprehensive care for patients age 16 and older who are experiencing a wide range of gastrointestinal issues, applying the latest treatment options and approaches.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Dr. Clark is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. He went on to complete residency training at St. Vincent Hospital and Health System, followed by fellowship training at Ohio State University.

Earlier Work Experiences

Prior to joining Beebe, Dr. Clark served as President and Managing Partner of Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville, located in Georgia. There, he managed practice operations for a team of 24 providers and more than 100 staff members. In tandem, he served as Medical Director of United Surgical Partners International, encompassing two jointly-owned endoscopy centers that perform approximately 15,000 procedures per year.

Personal Notes

In his free time, Dr. Clark enjoys hitting the greens with his wife, Shelby. He has been an avid golfer for more than 50 years. They are parents to five children, and spending as much quality time with his family is key priority. Dr. Clark also enjoys traveling, fishing, and being active in the local equestrian scene.
