Sean Ryan, MD, is a board-certified vascular surgeon who is part of Beebe Healthcare’s Medical Staff. He provides care for patients with a diverse range of conditions affecting the circulatory system. Some of the most common conditions he diagnoses and treats include aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease with focus on stroke prevention, end stage renal disease, venous disease of the legs, and atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). Dr. Ryan has been practicing in Lewes since 2015 and is part of the Vascular Surgeons of Southern Delaware team.

Education, Training, and Credentialing

Dr. Ryan earned his Medical Degree at Rutgers University’s Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, located in New Jersey. He completed his residency training in general surgery at ChristianaCare, followed by fellowship training concentrating on vascular surgery at the Thomas Jefferson university Hospital, located in Philadelphia.
