We evaluate each candidate holistically, considering all aspects of the application including board scores, personal statement, letters of recommendation, and relevant experiences. We seek individuals who are collaborative, motivated, and adaptable—traits essential for success in a transitional year program.
Applications to our program must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS). The residency participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Candidates will be selected and scheduled for interview via ERAS/Thalamus only.
Application requirements are as follows:
- Passing score for USMLE/COMLEX 1 and USMLE/COMLEX 2. We will consider interviews for those awaiting level two scores but a passing grade must be received prior to match.
- Once accredited, we will look at applications on a rolling basis and interviews will be conducted virtually.
- Three letters of recommendation are recommended to accompany your application in ERAS/Thalamus.
