Meet Carrie Snyder, Your Women’s Health Nurse Navigator
Beebe Women’s Health is here for you.
Carrie Snyder, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is Beebe's Nurse Navigator for Women's Health, Heart Health, and Orthopaedics. She serves as a liaison between Beebe and the community to help you navigate our services. She can answer your questions to help you better understand what screenings you may need or which physicians you should contact.
Carrie started her nursing career as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at Beebe in 2004 after graduating with her BSN from the University of Delaware. She earned her MSN degree from Wilmington University in 2008 and was board certified by the ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner. At that time, she began working as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Beacon Family Practice and Beacon Pediatrics providing primary care for adult and pediatric patients. She then became the FNP and Coordinator of Laurel High School Wellness Center. While at the Wellness Center, she developed and implemented the reproductive health program in collaboration with Delaware Public Health Services and the Title X program. She also served on the action committee for DAPI in Sussex County. During that time, she also worked for Beebe Medical Group in their four walk-in clinics and served as adjunct faculty at Wilmington University in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. In 2015, she rejoined the physicians of Beacon Family Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Beebe Medical Group.
Carrie grew up in Sussex County and really has an understanding of the culture and community Beebe Healthcare serves. She now resides in Millsboro with her husband and two “Beebe Babies,” ages 3 and 5.
“I am really excited about serving the patients of Beebe and the community in this new role. As a primary care provider, I understand the daily struggles patients face while trying to access the healthcare system and the services they need. I hope to be a clinical resource for patients and families and help reduce the burden that illness and healthcare needs can cause. I also want to help our community become the healthiest it can be!”
