Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival Hits a High Note with $55,000 Gift to Support Beebe Healthcare
The Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival, preparing for its 37th year, has donated $55,000 to Beebe Medical Foundation in support of Beebe Oncology Services. The gift was presented during a special check presentation at the Tunnell Cancer Center, reflecting the festival's longstanding commitment to enriching the health and well-being of Sussex County residents.
Since 1989, the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival has brought world-class musicians for a celebration of jazz, culture, and community. This year's four-day festival will take place October 16-19, 2026 across six different venues in Sussex County. It will kick off with a performance by NAACP Image Award nominee and Billboard chart-topping artist Damien Escobar at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center on October 15.
"My connection to Beebe and Tunnell Cancer Center is deeply personal," said Denny Santangini, President of the Delaware Celebration of Jazz. "As a patient, I experienced not only outstanding clinical care but also genuine compassion from the team that supported me throughout my cancer journey. Supporting Beebe Oncology Services through the Jazz Festival is a meaningful way for us to give back and help ensure local patients and families have access to the same high-quality care close to home."
The donation will help advance Beebe Oncology Services' mission of providing comprehensive cancer care close to home. From innovative treatments and clinical support services to compassionate personalized care throughout a patient's cancer journey, the funds will help ensure local residents have access to exceptional oncology resources when they need them most.
