Beebe Healthcare Introduces New Clinicians Joining Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Walk-in Care Teams
Beebe Healthcare is pleased to welcome Muhammad Khan, MD, MBBS, Thomas Madigan, PA, and Colleen Wilcox, APRN, to its growing team of clinicians.
Dr. Khan is a cardiologist and lipidologist who sees many patients with difficult-to-control cholesterol levels and inherited risk factors that require long-term monitoring and management. As a general cardiologist, he diagnoses and treats a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease (heart attack), hypertension, syncope, and heart failure.
“Beebe was a great choice for me because of its welcoming and collaborative environment, as well as its strong commitment to patient-centered care,” said Dr. Khan. “I am excited to join a healthcare team that is dedicated to serving the community and improving cardiovascular health through compassionate, high-quality care.”

Madigan is a hospitalist physician assistant who specializes in general internal medicine. He sees patients at Beebe’s main hospital in Lewes as well as at the Specialty Surgical Hospital located in Rehoboth Beach. Madigan is part of a multidisciplinary team of care clinicians who deliver comprehensive care for patients experiencing a diverse range of emergency and chronic illnesses. He and his significant other, Jordyn, a nurse, made the decision to relocate to Sussex County and join Beebe, together.
“Beebe spoke to us because of the close-knit, friendly, coastal community of Lewes and the surrounding areas,” said Madigan.

Wilcox is an advanced practice registered nurse who works at Beebe’s Walk-In Care Centers located throughout Sussex County. She diagnoses and treats a wide range of illnesses and injuries that require prompt medical attention, with her patient population including people of all ages — from babies through the elderly.
“From my very first interview at Beebe, I felt like I was already a part of the team,” said Wilcox. “Everyone — from the receptionists to the doctors and even people who had no part in my hiring process — stopped to wish me luck and get to know me, which stood out. One of the biggest things I have learned is how important it is to be part of a strong team; it makes all the difference!”
