Beebe Earns Top Rankings in The Lown Institute’s Annual Report on Hospital Social Responsibility

Beebe Healthcare has once again earned an “A” for its commitment to social responsibility, according to a report published this week by The Lown Institute, an independent healthcare “think tank” that advocates for improvements in America’s healthcare systems.

The Lown Institute evaluates hospitals and healthcare systems nationwide on eight distinct metrics within three core categories: Equity, Value, and Outcomes. Beebe earned an “A” in both the Equity and Outcomes categories with top ratings indicated across the Community Benefit, Inclusivity, Cost Efficiency, and Clinical Outcomes metrics. The Lown Institute’s Report also designated Beebe as No. 1 in the state of Delaware for Community Benefit.

“Beebe’s commitment to high quality care that centers around safety and efficiency in the clinical environment is shining once again, with the release of The Lown Institute’s 2025-2026 Index Report,” said Paul Sierzenski, MD, MSHQS, CPE, FACEP, Senior Vice President and Chief Physician Executive at Beebe Healthcare.

“Our ranking reflects the commitment that is made by a team of people who truly collaborate well and who are committed to providing the best possible experience for our patients. We are incredibly proud of our team and are grateful for the work they do, every day, in line with that goal.”
