Beebe Home Health Earns Recognition as a High Performing Agency, Named by U.S. News
Beebe Home Health was recently named a High Performing Home Health Agency by U.S. News. Only 1,300 Home Health agencies of the 8,000 that are in operation across the country were named to this prestigious listing.
“We have worked very hard to continuously grow our home health service to ensure people across and beyond Sussex County have the ongoing support they need to get and stay well,” said Loretta Ostroski, MSN, RN, Vice President of Integrated Care, Continuum of Care at Beebe. “It is a great honor to see our program named as one that is high performing. We are so proud of the members of our team who are committed to providing high quality patient care and whose dedication has made this achievement possible.”
Beebe Home Health strives to support patients in achieving the highest quality of life at home after discharge or during recovery. The program is accredited by The Joint Commission and is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of providers that includes nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, home health aides, speech language pathologists, and social workers.
The Home Health team offers comprehensive assessments, treatments, procedures, therapeutic services, and support services that are ordered by physicians, along with patient and family education. They work together to promote the importance of continued healing with focus on increasing mobility and functional independence within the home environment.
“Our team provides care for people who require extra medical support as they are recovering from illnesses, injuries, and surgeries, and for those who are learning to manage chronic health issues, long-term,” said Nory Davis, Director of Beebe’s Home Health Services. “Everything we do centers around making life easier for the patient and their loved ones and giving them the tools they need to manage challenging health issues correctly and confidently.”
