Beebe Health Suite at CAMP Rehoboth Ready for Appointments on July 27

First patient appointments begin July 29 at downtown Rehoboth Beach location

Beebe Healthcare and CAMP Rehoboth are proud to announce that scheduling will open Monday, July 27, for appointments at the Health Suite, located at 39 Baltimore Avenue in downtown Rehoboth Beach.

The first patient appointments will begin Wednesday, July 29, at the newly named Beebe Health Suite at CAMP Rehoboth.

The Health Suite is the first phase of a partnership between Beebe Healthcare and CAMP Rehoboth focused on expanding access to prevention, screening, care navigation, and health education in a trusted and convenient downtown location.

The Health Suite builds on CAMP Rehoboth's longstanding commitment to community health while connecting patients with Beebe's licensed clinical team and broader network of care.

Initial offerings include:

  • HIV screening and counseling
  • STI screening and testing
  • PrEP services
  • Vaccinations
  • Care coordination and referrals
  • Health education and outreach

One of the unique offerings planned through the Health Suite is a co-pharmacist-led PrEP program. PrEP, or pre-exposure prophylaxis, is a medication that helps prevent HIV infection in people who may be at increased risk. Under a new Delaware law, specially trained pharmacists can play a larger role in helping patients access PrEP, making it easier and more convenient to receive prevention services, education, follow-up care, and ongoing monitoring.

“Access is one of the biggest factors in preventive healthcare,” said Rebecca Marciniak, PharmD, Clinical Pharmacist, Beebe Healthcare. “By bringing services into a trusted and familiar community setting, we're helping people connect with care earlier and more easily. The pharmacist-led PrEP model allows us to remove some of the traditional barriers to prevention and support patients throughout their care journey.”

Patients will receive the same clinical standards and quality of care found throughout Beebe Healthcare, delivered in a convenient downtown setting.

Appointments will be available during the following hours:

  • Monday: 9 a.m. to Noon
  • Wednesday: 1-4 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. to Noon

Appointments may be scheduled beginning July 27 on Beebe’s website: www.beebehealthcare.org/locations/beebe-health-suite-camp-rehoboth

“CAMP Rehoboth has been a trusted source for HIV testing, counseling, and prevention for decades,” said Robin Brennan, DrPH, Executive Director for CAMP Rehoboth. “Our partnership with Beebe Healthcare allows us to expand the scope of services available while ensuring that everyone in our community has access to affirming, welcoming care in a place they know and trust.”

The Health Suite serves as an important healthcare access point in downtown Rehoboth Beach, a community that experiences significant seasonal growth during the summer months.  The location has long provided health-related resources and support through CAMP Rehoboth, and this partnership ensures those services will continue while expanding opportunities for prevention, care navigation, and connection to Beebe's broader network of care.

By maintaining and enhancing access in the heart of downtown, Beebe Healthcare and CAMP Rehoboth aim to make it easier for both year-round residents and visitors to access the care and support they need.

“This zartnership allows us to build on the strong foundation CAMP Rehoboth has already created and ensure people continue to have access to screening, counseling, prevention, and support close to home,” said Bill Chasanov, DO, Infectious Disease physician and Chief Health Systems Design Officer for Beebe Healthcare. “More importantly, it gives us a framework to continue growing and responding to the needs of the community for years to come.”

The Health Suite is the first phase of Beebe Healthcare's partnership with CAMP Rehoboth. Planning continues for a future expanded clinical and wellness space at 39 Baltimore Avenue, where additional healthcare services and community wellness programming are being explored. Future offerings will be guided by community feedback and evolving healthcare needs throughout Sussex County.
