Dr. Aldred, a Lewes native and Cape Henlopen High School alumnus, sees patients of all ages for acute, chronic, and preventive care, and is also trained to perform joint injections as well as dermatologic procedures and biopsies. Dr. Aldred’s earliest experiences at Beebe date back to 2014, when he served as a volunteer on the hospital’s peri-operative care unit. In the years that followed, he served in various roles for community-based organizations, with a focus on helping people and solving problems.
“These experiences inspired me to apply to medical school and ultimately pursue a career focused on primary care, with the opportunity to personally impact the lives of patients and families,” said Dr. Aldred. “I believe strongly that family is one of life’s greatest gifts.”
Dr. Aldred earned his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He went on to complete his Family Medicine Residency at West Virginia University, where his practice focused on the delivery of comprehensive care for medically underserved patients. Additionally, Dr. Aldred is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry.
