What Beebe Patients Need to Know as MyChart Becomes Available on Nov. 1

As Beebe Healthcare implements MyChart on Saturday, Nov. 1, community members may have questions about how their health information will be accessed and managed.

MyChart creates a single, seamless, and connected health record for patients, creating numerous benefits for everyone’s healthcare experience. Beebe community members will be able to sign up for MyChart starting Saturday, Nov. 1. At your first visit or Beebe Medical Group appointment (after Nov. 1), ask any Beebe team member for an activation code.

If you already have a MyChart account with another health system, you’ll need to sign up for MyChart with Beebe to securely access your health information and link your accounts. Important updates, sign-up instructions, and FAQs are being added to Beebe’s website continuously: beebehealthcare.org/mychart.

Additionally, Beebe will host several community events this fall to help patients sign up and learn more about MyChart. Visit the Beebe website and social media pages for event dates and details.

Important Bill Pay Updates

Beginning Nov. 1, patients will be able to view and pay bills within MyChart at any Beebe location, including the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus, a Beebe Lab Express, or at a Beebe Medical Group outpatient location.

For visits prior to Nov. 1, payment will need to be made in the same manner as a patient previously did. For example:

  • Online: Use your Athena portal (Beebe Medical Group bill) or ePay (Hospital bill). 
  • In Person: Visit the Cashier’s Office inside the hospital or for a Beebe Medical Group bill ask the staff at any Beebe Medical Group location. 
  • By Phone: Call the customer service team at 302-645-3546.

Beebe Lab, Cape Pharmacy Temporarily Adjust Hours

Patients can expect access to care across the health system on Saturday, Nov. 1 with a few minor changes.

Beebe Lab locations at Georgetown, Lewes, Millsboro, Millville, and Rehoboth will open one hour later on Saturday, Nov. 1, seeing patients starting at 7 a.m.

Cape Pharmacy will close at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 and remain closed on Saturday, Nov. 1. On Sunday, Nov. 2, Cape Pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and normal hours will resume Monday.
