FAMILY MEDICINE RESIDENCY


PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS AND APPLICATION PROCESS

We look at each candidate holistically, to include the entirety of the application such as board scores, personal statement, letter of recommendations, etc. We are looking for candidates who are team players, who are passionate about family medicine and serving their community, and who will contribute to the residency and the health system in positive way.

Applications to our program must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS). The residency participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Candidates will be selected and scheduled for interview via ERAS only. Application requirements are as follows:

U.S. Medical School Graduates

  • Graduate of a LCME or COCA accredited medical school, preferring graduation within the last 2 years

International Medical Graduates

  • Preferred graduation within the last 2 years
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school
  • Certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)
  • At least six months of U.S. clinical experience
  • Beebe Healthcare will accept J1 visas only on a case-by-case basis

Medical Students looking for an Audition Rotation with our Family Medicine Residency Program may complete an Audition Rotation Request Form through Clinician Nexus.
