Beebe Welcomes Family Medicine, Pharmacy, and Transitional Year Residents with Presentation of White Coats
The R. Randall Rollins Center for Medical Education at Beebe Healthcare recently marked another notable milestone, holding an official induction ceremony for the 16 physicians coming on board as new residents.
Each was presented a white coat, a symbolic tradition signifying their commitment to the medical profession and the next stage of their education. The event marked the introduction of Beebe’s fourth cohort of Family Medicine residents, and its first cohort of both Pharmacy and Transitional Year Residents.
Joining Beebe’s Family Medicine Residency are:
- Prateek Attri, MD, a graduate of St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine
- Abdullah Awan, MD, a graduate of C.M.H. Lahore Medical College
- Zehra Cakil, MD, a graduate of Saglik Bilimleri Universitesi Gulhane Tip Fakultesi
- Saima Chaudry, MD, a graduate of Rawalpindi Medical College
- Sarah Jadoo, MD, a graduate of SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine
- Juana Romelus, DO, a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Joining Beebe’s Pharmacy Residency are:
- Cora Barry, PharmD, a graduate of Shenandoah University
- Joya Scibek, PharmD, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh
Joining Beebe’s Transitional Year Residency are:
- Talib Araim, DO, a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
- Kennedy Butch, DO, a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
- Yuliya Karalevich, DO, a graduate of NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine
- Ritesh Kumar, MD, a graduate of Ghulam Mohammad Mahar Medical College
- Vlad Sirbu, DO, a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
- Oliva Soda, DO, a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
- Yazmin Williams, DO, a graduate of Rowan – Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine
- Hamza Zaheer, MD, a graduate of Shalamar Medical & Dental College
Beebe officially launched its Graduate Medical Education program four years ago with a vision to build a comprehensive and respected training environment for new physicians, while also generating new avenues to expand services and create capacity for more patients to have access to convenient and timely care options. Through investing in graduate medical education, the organization is prioritizing the long-term health of the community and strengthening the workforce, while positioning Beebe as a destination for the next generation of clinical providers to gain skills, knowledge, and experience.
